The undergraduate study of phonetics is aimed at acquisition and application of basic knowledge about acoustics, sound articulation, sound and speech analysis and synthesis, phonetic transcription, standard Croatian pronunciation, speech and hearing processes and rhetoric. Undergraduate students of phonetics will develop skills for the acquisition of basic knowledge of phonetics (acoustics, psychoacoustics, articulation, speech analysis, correct pronunciation) as well as basic knowledge of applied phonetics (rhetoric, speech and hearing impairments and rehabilitation).
